New Hair Cuts

Well, today at our household we found a new way to get our haircuts. We actually went to the mall to Master Cuts and got them done. i was quite surprised at how well they cut our hair and styled it. It was alot cheaper then where we normally go and I was thankful for it. Then I left the mall. No shopping or anything. I can't believe that. Now at home today we are dog sitting and trying to help our best friends get ready for their daughters graduation party and I'm of course trying to pickup and lean. Then I walked into our daughters room and just wished that I had not. I think Hurricane Catherine and Cristina came through. I know my mom would laugh at this. It's funny they way your kids can act and behave just like you did when you were a kid.

Everyone has things that they need to do as a parent and my youngest can make it very difficult sometimes. I love her with my whole no matter what, but there are times I think my patience is going to snap. Then, I turn to God and some how He always gets us through those times. Even now there are some changes that have to take place and I am a little scared about them, but I know that we will be able to do all things with God, but apart from him we can do nothing. I am so grateful for my family and the closeness that we share. I know we would not be where we are today without God and that whatever comes our way, as long as we stay close to God all things will work out. I hope everyone has a blessed day.

Today is starting out like any other day. The only difference is that today I have to work. It is my one day a week that I have to work and the neighbor and I trade kids one day during the week so that we can each work. It is still hard to get up and get going this morning. These are the days when I wish I still could be home, but financially it's hard to do. I really could work more for the money, but then not everything about life is about money. Sometimes you just have to draw the line and make the sacrifice's to be with your kids. It's not always easy.

Should I stay or work?

I have had this question on my mind since I had my kids. I have gone back and forth over the issue and I believe that it is different for every woman. Today, so many of us(moms) wonder if we are doing the right thing by working. I had to make the decision to stay home. I know that God calls us to a higher standard of living and that the way we live our life is not going to be the same way that the world wants us to live our lives. Raising our kids should be on the forefront and not on the back burner. They should be viewed as a gift from God and not a pain or annoying. There are times when my husband and I have to go without things and we really do not go any place where we cannot bring our kids. What we do we do as a family and it does bring a closer together. My choice to be at home with my children has not always been easy. Some of the hardest things we will have to do in our lives is to try and be the best parents we can and to be an example of a good christian. God is our rock and keeps our home and family together. God Bless everyone!!
